New Designs for 2009
New Bricks, pillows, and rugs

Item #117C $95.00Item # 117B $115.00

Although we all thought Julie was languishing on the beach this summer, she was actually busy doing her "design thing". She has taken some of her "classics and given them a new flare. After many years of requests for new brick patterns, she has really come through with some great new canvasses. The ever popular geckos (13 mesh) and the seahorse (10 and 13 mesh) from her frog design have made their way onto their very own bricks. They will look great holding any foor open.

Her other two new brick designs have taken Mallory Square (13 mesh) and Duval Street (13 mesh) to the bricks. The bright colots on the Mallory Square brick bring back memories of the fabulous sunsets we all love and enjoy in Key West. The Duval Street brick, with its picket fence and bicycle basket dog will make you smile with the feel of "the crawl".

For those of you who have always loved Julie's great carpet bag designs but feel like they are more than you want to tackel, she has made the side panels into canvasses perfect for framing or making into pillows. The Mimi butterfly canvass (12 mesh) truely give the butterflies life like they could fly right off the canvass. The Spring floral (10 and 13 mesh) will brighten up even the darkest days of winter (at least up North) with the bright flowers in full bloom for spring. Each design has two views so they would look great framing any couch or love seat.

The final design hits new heights of splender. Julie has incorporated her Crescent beach canvass into a new rug with a border of stripes and flowing seaweed. The shells are so amazing you can almost hear the waves. Any beach house or home wanting to remember those hours of beach combing will find the shell rug (10 mesh) to be the focal point of any room.

These designs are all too new to be included on the web site. Feel free to call the store (305) 296 -6091 to order and we will get them out to you right away.

Life here in Key West is as wonderful as ever. The store is in full swing. Stitch and Sip is still on Thursday mornings around the pool. The new projects being worked on are as spectacular as always. What a treat to be able to stitch and learn from the masters. New classes to get stitchers thinking beyond the painted canvass are also being scheduled. Come join in the fun.

We hope this article finds all of you happy stitching in 2009. Let's pray for a happy, healthy and peaceful New Year.
