Spring 2009 update
Spring 2009 Update

Sip-N-Stitch had the "End of Season" poolside Luncheon on
Thursday March 26, 2009, what a fun time had by all and
some great projects completed.

Let's review the Season:
Everyone did such great "creative pieces" this season. We played with knitting
fibers on 10 mesh in a monochromatic palette with textures of linens, silks,
cottons and over dyes.
Special thanks go out to Ruby, who strengthened everyone's creativity
with her stitch class on Wednesday Mornings. The class used the "Summer Seas"
canvas series with everyone using a different color scheme. It was a little
slow to start, but once things got going, the group was unstoppable. Thanks again Ruby.

Great Summer projects:
Time to re-work those belt canvases into summer flip flops, update your canvas beach bag squares for the new summer season. Here is a photo of ideas from the shop.

Whats Happening next?:
Julie is off to the Dallas show in April showing her new work, then she will have trunk shows in the following areas over the summer, so be sure to stop by and pick-up your favorite designs.

Scrim Discovery,Ocean City, New Jersey
July:
Pawleys Island Needlepoint, Pawleys Island, South Carolina.
Julie will be teaching class there July 10-12, 2009, so be sure to add her to your calendar so you don't miss this great class.

Come August, Julie hopefully will re-charge her creative juices in St.Augustine doing what she enjoys most, Designing New Canvas till the end of October.
