Posted Tuesday, May 20, 2008 New Design for June Market! Julie's packing a new bag design in her show trunk as she gets ready for the TNNA Columbus Market . Click on article title for details and info on Julie's summer schedule. Also lots of pics of finished projects by Julie's customers. Julie's busy packing for the Columbus Market where she'll be showcasing a new summer bag design ( see sample above). The versatile Starfish bag can be stitched to complement any outfit...or car...or boat...or living room. Further personalize this summery fashion statement with creative thread use. The bag is not yet available on the website, so call Julie at 305-296-6091 if you want to tackle this project pronto.
Julie's Summer Schedule: Julie will be out of the store for the Columbus Market from June 5-11. On her return from Columbus, the retail store in Key West will be closed for the summer. BUT you can still reach her via email or telephone (just leave a message and she'll get back to you). And the website will be up and running if you want to order that way.
Customer Projects: As you know if you've been watching this space, Julie had a great winter season, with lots of stitching among old friends and new acquaintances. Here are some of the finished projects that came to life around Julie's pool. I hope they give you fresh ideas and an urge to keep stitching through the summer.
In order (and using only first names): (1) Deb's Starfish inserted into a striped tote. (2) Denise's Sea Life Hobo, ready to go to the finisher. (3) Julie's (I know she's not a customer, but she is a master stitcher) finished Sea Life Hobo. (4) Bernie's Gecko Carpetbag. (5) Bonnie's Shell Tote. (6) Vicki's Caroline Hobo. (7) Lil's Persian Tote. |
